Responsible for designing and implementing software tests and contributing to the improvement of the testing process.

• Design, implement and execute test cases and scenarios based on product functional specifications.
• Develop and implement test automation scripts using automation tools.
• Participate in software development and testing process improvement activities.
• Maintain clear and effective communications with product management and development.
• Report testing progress to test management.
• Escalate issues to test management as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in arts and sciences, business or a technical field.
• Testing experience in a formal product development environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software development lifecycles.
• Demonstrated knowledge of standards for software testing, test design, and test planning.
• Experience with test automation and software testing tools.
• Software programming experience a big plus.
• Prior experience with financial software a plus.
• Effective problem solver.
• Knowledge of personal computers, programming languages, networks, database concepts, Windows XP/Server/Vista, email, accounting principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical/problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and diligent in performing work.
• Highly motivated self-starter.
