Tyler Technologies established the MUNIS Public Sector Excellence Awards to recognize and reward our end-users for your achievements in an industry where you are often challenged to do more with less while under the glare of constant public scrutiny. This is a chance to acknowledge clients who demonstrate best practices in developing, deploying, and maintaining MUNIS Solutions in innovative ways—because our clients are a big part of why our solutions work. All MUNIS clients are invited to participate and share how Tyler applications have resulted in high-impact value by providing Return on Effort (ROE) or Return on Investment (ROI) at their site.

In addition to the prizes and accolades you’ll receive, winners also earn the opportunity to influence fellow MUNIS and Tyler Solutions users. Any Tyler client who has implemented a MUNIS Solution before December 2007 is eligible to enter. Entries may come from one person or from a group of people at a single organization. We urge you to apply online (below), to reduce environmental waste and unnecessary paper excess; however, we will gladly accept entries through (the mail).

Applicants may enter in up to two of the three categories:

1. Organizational Efficiency — Tyler applications or processes improved overall workplace efficiency
2. Organizational Responsiveness — Tyler applications or processesimproved your ability to better serve your employees, vendors, or citizens
3. Organizational Productivity — Tyler applications or processes improved staff productivity

Who understands your industry better than your peers? That’s why Tyler’s Advisory Board and members of Tyler’s management team will judge your application. Entries will be judged anonymously and will be scored on business value, innovation, and relevance to other organizations using Tyler Solutions. Including details of cost savings and time savings you experienced within your application will help support your submission. Three winners will be named; one in each category.

Deadline for submission is July 11, 2008. Winners will be notified by August 30, 2008, followed by a special award ceremony held at the Tyler Connect 2008 User Conference.

Additional Rules for Participation

1. Must agree to adhere to the above-mentioned rules in Entry Directions and Requirements.
2. Must have senior management approval to participate in Tyler Technologies, Inc.’s MUNIS Public Sector Awards contest.
3. Must agree to participate in the Awards presentation at the User Conference if chosen as a winner.
4. “Expense Paid Trip” to the Tyler Connect 2008 User Conference includes:
   • Free admission to the User Conference. You will be reimbursed for admittance if you register for the conference before winners are announced.
   • Reasonable airfare to the User Conference capped at $350 round-trip. You must make your own travel arrangements and submit a receipt of airfare purchase to Tyler Technologies to be reimbursed.
   • Hotel accommodations for three nights and four days (October 22, 23, 24, 25) at the Gaylord Texan Resort. You will be reimbursed for your hotel after you reserve your room.
5. Tyler Advisory Board members who choose to judge the Awards and enter into the Awards contest must agree to not vote for their submission or solicit votes for their organization’s entry.
6. Must agree to and understand that Tyler may use all entries for promotional materials.
